Greetings:
I just saw your YouTube post about operating a Bolt EV in cold temperatures. I didn’t find a way to reply to you directly from the YouTube page, so I’m contacting you here.
I, too, drive a 2020 Bolt EV, but I live where it gets very cold (Wallowa County, Oregon–far NE corner of the state). The lowest temp we’ve seen so far this winter is 12 below zero (F). To compound the problem, in this part of the world, EV charging stations, especially DCFCs, are few and far between. To further compound the problem, I’m running a set of Bridgestone Blizzak studless winter traction tires, which I’m sure have higher rolling resistance than the OEM tires fitted to the Bolt (If you can suggest a resource that compares the rolling resistance of different winter traction tires, I would appreciate the referral). But, fortunately, I also have a heated garage (I keep the thermostat set at 60 degrees F) , which helps considerably.
But the main reason I’m contacting you is to find out about the smartphone app shown in your video that gives detailed info about the states of important systems in the car. What is the app’s name? Is it available for iOS, Android, or both?
Many thanks,
Terry Hiatt

Since you have a Bolt your a prime candidate for me to ask questions before I accept the 2023 Bolt that I ordered which they say will take several months to arrive. Would not mind paying for your time.
I swapped my electric for a gas dryer so I can charge at home.
Would it be possible to talk about using the Bolt for Long Distance.
How many charge apps will I need to log onto when charging the Bolt on long trips in the Western USA.
Why do I see a such a gap in Montana and Dakotas.
Why Does the charging drop off after 80%? – to lessen the wear on the battery pack?
Do you feel that Chevy Bolt will eventually move to Ultium instead of Lithium Ion?
